Sushi!

One of the Recessionista's favorite things to do is going out to eat (the Recessionista is not a cook). And the Recessionista can eat her weight in sushi! This can get pricey, so when I do sushi I want good sushi for cheap.

BLUE FISH has delectable raw fish in three yummy locations: Greenville Avenue, Las Colinas and the Tollway at Frankford. All three offer 2-for-1 sushi at lunch. Now, let's define sushi: for the lunch special it means raw fish on a glob of rice. It does not mean sushi rolls, or sashimi (or edamame for that matter).

So, normally an order of salmon sushi gets you two pieces for $4.50. The lunch special doubles that so you get four pieces for $4.50. Or eight pieces for $9! It still adds up, but for sushi lovers this is a great deal.
