The Diamond Jewelry Co

What girl doesn't like jewelry and watches? The Recessionista certainly does, and directs much of her love to The Diamond Jewelry Co (formerly Jeff the Jeweler). This locally owned and operated business is on Beltline and MacArthur in the Tom Thumb shopping center and the Recessionista has relied on them for:
  • Jewelry purchases (duh) -- if you ask nice they might be able to work out a discount for you
  • Watch purchases -- Recessionista's Rolex makes her very happy, and the price she paid was beyond competitive
  • Jewelry and watch repair -- fast and affordable, and as a reminder a new watch band can resurrect 'that old thing' into a new favorite
  • Jewelry creation -- the creative minds at DJC are knockout! Bring in your old stuff and DJC will work with you to create a new masterpiece. The earring and ring set fashioned from a pair of Neiman Marcus cufflinks always gets compliments; no one would believe the pittance it cost to create.

Best of all, manager Royce and his team are lovely to work with.
