Paperbacks Plus on La Vista in Lakewood gives cash or credit for recent paperbacks, and hardbacks if the paperback isn’t out yet. When you buy books from them, you can use half credit, half cash. I feel like you get more selling to Paperbacks Plus, too.
And, as a feel-good option, Paperbacks Plus offers un-buyables (due to condition or overstock) on a shelf outside the store for people who can’t afford even used book prices (lots of those folks in East Dallas).
Lots of fun to browse around in, too.
