There are so many ways to recycle unwanted stuff -- you can get cash back by selling at garage sales, on eBay, at many local used book stores, at consignment shopes. But sometimes you just want to donate for a good cause (and a tax deduction). Recessionista is fond of:

• Newborns in Need and Project Night Night specialize in children's items (both of these are .orgs)
• Books for Soldiers keeps the military from going stir crazy, and Reader to Reader helps out libraries (both are .orgs)
